Re-grading every NFL team's 2017 offseason

Few paid much attention last March when the Minnesota Vikings signed Case Keenum to a one-year contract for $2 million -- but that move became one of the most pivotal of the 2017 season. Here's how every team's offseason acquisitions look now.

The Cowboys have hired Paul Alexander as their line coach, according to a source. He replaces Frank Pollack. Alexander spent more than 20 years with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cowboys will meet with New York Giants line coach Mike Solari, according to sources. While there was some interest in Tom Cable, it never got to a point where interview was set up before he joined Oakland's staff. Former Cincinnati line coach Paul Alexander met with the Cowboys in the middle of the week.

Running backs coach Gary Brown is expected to return to the Cowboys, according to sources. He had interest from the Oakland Raiders and Houston Texans. Brown has been with the Cowboys since 2013 and helped DeMarco Murray and Ezekiel Elliott to earn Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors in 2013-14 and 2016. He also oversaw Daren McFadden's 1,089-yard season in 2015.

Sanjay Lal, who was the wide receivers coach with the Indianapolis Colts in 2017, is interviewing with the Cowboys, according to multiple sources. The Cowboys have also met with Miles Austin about the opening. Lal has also worked with Oakland, Buffalo and the New York Jets.

Jonathan Cooper, who started 13 games at left guard for the Cowboys in 2017, had knee surgery last week. He sprained the medial collateral ligament in the season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles. Cooper is set to be an unrestricted free agent but he should be ready for a part of an offseason program wherever he signs.
